Substance represents that form of existence of matter that has a homogeneous composition throughout its mass.

According to origin, the substances can be:

  • Natural: gold, diamond, natural rubber, salt, methane gas, oxygen.
  • Artificial (synthetic): synthetic rubber, plastics, medicines, synthetic threads, detergents, insecticides, artificial fertilizers, glass, porcelain.
